Abstract

The Assessment System for Aircraft Noise (ASAN) includes a database of several thousand references to the literature on the impact of noise and sonic booms on humans, animals and structures. Bibliographic data, abstracts and critical reviews of key documents can be retrieved. This report is the user's manual for the retrievable module. It describes the types of searches that can be conducted, the options for each and explains all user screens. Installation instructions for the stand-along MS-DOS version are included. (edc)
