AFGW's Upper Air Validator System
Abstract
This technical note describes the Upper Air Validator system at AFGWC. Detailed descriptions of internal error checking and data quality assurance functions are the major part of this tech note. Problems with the previous Validator and improvements within this Validator are also addressed. Reject and suspect limits for temperature, height, wind speed, and density used by the Validator are included.
