Abstract

The Sixth International Pathogenic Neisseriae Conference was held a t Callaway Gardens Conference Center, Pine Mountain, GA., 16 to 21 October 1988. The primary goal of the organizers of the conference was to bring together investigators, postdoctoral fellows and graduate students from academia, government, and industry who are involved with or interested in Neisseria gonorrhoeae and Neisseria meningitidis to start ongoing research on these organisms and the diseases they cause, to communicate with fellow investigators, and to stimulate potential collaborative endeavors.
