Heliport Noise Model (HNM). Version 1. (User's Guide)

Abstract

This document contains the instructions to execute the Heliport Noise Model (HNM), Version 1. HNM Version 1 is a computer tool for determining the total impact of helicopter noise at and around heliports. The model runs on IBM PC/XT/AT personal computers and compatibles. This manual contains a general description of elements of a heliport case study and specific instructions for preparing the case for input. HNM Version 1 is based upon the Federal Aviation Administration's Integrated Noise Model (INM) for noise from fixed-wing aircraft.
