Abstract

A workshop on Intelligent Real-Time Problem Solving (IR TPS) was held in Santa Cruz, California, November 6 and 7, 1989. The workshop was sponsored by AFOSR (Air Force Office of Scientific Research), RADC (AF Rome Air Development Center), and WRDC (AF Wright Research and Development Center) as part of an initiative to stimulate the development of a national basic research focus on IRTPS. This report summarizes the results of that workshop and the work leading up to it. Keywords: Artificial intelligence; State of the Art.
