Abstract

Previous reports on the A/F32T-9 Large Turbo Fan Engine Enclosed Noise Suppressor System (T-9 NSS) addressed environmental noise for acceptance test purposes only. This report presents the first article test results for interior and near-field exterior occupational noise exposure during ground runup tests of the following engines: F100, F101-GE-102, F108-CF-100, J57-59W, J85-5, TF30-P7, TF33-P3 and the TF41-A1.
