General Construction Contractor Bidding Strategy Variations Based on Market Conditions

Abstract

General construction contractors develop bidding strateg ies to guide them in determining what jobs to bid and how to bid those jobs. The objectives of this paper are to identify the market-condition related factors that the contractors consider when devising their bidding strategies and determine how they vary their bidding strategies based on those factors.
