Joint Services Electronics Program: Electronics Research at the University of Texas at Austin

Abstract

This report summarizes scientific progress on 'Basic Research in Electronics' which has been conducted under the auspices of the DoD Joint Services Electronics Program during the period 01 - January - 31 December 1989. Progress on five solid-state, two information electronics, and two electromagnetic projects is described. Information electronics, Electromagnetics, Solid-state electronics, Molecular beam epitaxy, Semiconductor surfaces, Charge transport, Femtosecond processes, Heterostructure device, Millimeter wave active guided wave structures, Nonlinear wave phenomena.
