Advanced On-the Job Training System: Evaluation Computer Program Configuration Item

Abstract

This paper provides the requirements for the complete identification of the Evaluation Computer Program Configuration Item (CPCI) of the software component of the Advanced On-the-job Training System (AOTS). The CPCI provides support for the four components of the Evaluation subsystem: Manage Evaluation Instrumentation; Evaluate Performance; Apply Training Quality Control; and Evaluate System. Software support for Manage Evaluation Instrumentation consists of the development and maintenance of terminal and supporting behavioral objectives. Evaluate Performance software support consists of the on-line presentation and scoring of test material. Training Quality Control component software consists of the generation of quality control follow-up reports. The, fourth component, Evaluation System, consists of software support for the fifth generation of report recipient records and unit training reports.
