Micro-Undulator FEL Technology

Abstract

A novel technique for overcoming lower size limitations in the fabrication permanent magnet undulators is described. An analysis of the properties of such millimeter period undulators is presented and some possible low-voltage FELs employing them are discussed. Reprints. (JHD)
