An Administrator's Guide for Animal Facilitated Therapy Programs in Federal Health Care Facilities

Abstract

Animal facilitated therapy has positively impacted upon a wide variety of both in-patient and outpatient medical treatment programs. This study outlines a variety of issues and answers surrounding the inclusion of animals into health care organizations and their respective treatment programs.
