Stereo Microscopes: Technical Evaluation

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to accomplish technical evaluations of various stereo microscopes which may be used in a dental laboratory. This report will provide assistance to base dental surgeons for selection of units for their particular requirements. The microscopes were compared against criteria developed by United States Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine (USAFSAM) evaluators. The user evaluations were performed at USAFSAM with the results presented herein.
