Follow on Force Attack: A Concept for the 21st Century

Abstract

Follow on Force Attach was a logical adaptation of U.S. Airland Battle doctrine to the European battlefield. However, with the changing World situation the NATO allies still must be prepared for the worst case scenario. The Soviets still possess the capability inflict serious damage to the West. This paper examines the role of Follow-On-Force Attack as a viable concept for the near future and for use in the 21st Century. (kr)
