Weibull Parameter Calculation and Weibull Monte Carlo Analysis for Analyzing Parts Failures in Gas Turbines and Other Equipment

Abstract

A set of computer codes has been developed which can be used to analyze failure characteristics using a Weibull distribution. Included are codes for Weibull Parameter Calculation, Present Risk Analysis, Future Risk Analysis, Characteristic Life Calculation, and two Monte Carlo Failure Codes providing both long and short printouts. When combined with Life Cycle Cost Analyses these codes will contribute to determination of rigorous return on investment for management decision making.
