Procedures for Acquisition of Major Systems for the Pakistan Navy

Abstract

This thesis describes and evaluates the process of major systems acquisition in the United States and the Pakistan Navy. It describes the process of initiation of the needs to the deployment of the system. The difference between the systems of the two countries are highlighted and based upon this comparative evaluation a model for the acquisition of major systems for the Pakistan Navy has been developed.
