Special Flood Hazard Evaluation Report, West Creek Village of Evans Mills, Jefferson County, New York

Abstract

This report documents the results of an investigation to determine the potential flood situation along West Creek within the village of Evans Mills, New York. West Creek is a small, ungaged stream with a total drainage area of 32.2 square miles. The topography of the stream is generally hilly. Surface elevations range from 550 feet to 400 feet at the mouth of the creek. This report identifies the 100-year and 500-year plain and 100-year floodway for West Creek. (edc)
