Human Performance Data Relevant to the Amored Family of Vehicles

Abstract

For this report, human performance findings and issues relevant to the Armor Family of Vehicles (AFV) were abstracted from past literature in the areas of encapsulation, information processing, continuous operations, and maintenance. Emphasis was placed on selecting documents that contain quantitative data and information easily generalizable to the AFV soldier and tasks. Implications for the design, training, and manpower requirements for the AFV soldier and tasks. Implications for the design, training, and manpower requirements for the AFV were developed from the documents. The report is organized to provide varying levels of detail required by personnel involved with AFV MANPRINT issues.
