CK-MB Correlation Study between Fluorescent Enzymeimmunoassay and Rapid Electrophoresis Techniques

Abstract

A correlation study for CK-MB analysis was performed using two state- of-the-art techniques, fluorescent enzyme immunoassay on the stratus analyzer, and a rapid electrophoresis technique on the Helena REP/EDC system. Excellent diagnostic correlation between the two techniques was observed. This data suggests that the two methods can be used interchangeably for diagnostic purpose. Keywords: Fluorescent enzyme; Immunoassay; Rapid electrophoresis.
