Effects of Multimodal Approaches of Providing Academic Counseling Feedback on Counseling Outcomes Using the Colorado Educational Interest Indicator

Abstract

The importance of academic advising has been recognized by the federal government. The General Accounting Office (1976) published a report of service academy attrition in which they emphasized the need for early identification of students who might possibly attrite and the need for counseling as a means of helping them clarify their goals in the hopes that this will increase retention.
