Satisfaction with Space Available Dental Care and the Active Duty Dependents Dental Insurance Program

Abstract

This study explored the satisfaction of insurance eligibles with the Active Duty Dependents Dental Insurance Plan (ADDDIP) and with space available care in military dental clinics. It also determines enrollment in the ADDDIP, reasons for enrollment choice, enrollment in other civilian dental insurance, willingness to pay for an expanded plan, and extra services most desired to be included in the ADDDIP. The data were collected on the fall 1988 semi-annual Soldier Support Center survey. The sample includes 2,110 officer and 4,114 enlisted families.
