CAD/CAM Feasibility Study

Abstract

This report addresses the effectiveness and capabilities of computer-aided design and digital and analog simulation in an R&D microprocessor environment. The range of tools available, present capabilities of CAD/CAM systems, and complex modeling features are presented and explained. Advanced computer aided engineering and simulation tools may assist in testing new theories and developing complex hardware and software systems in a more expedient manner. Keywords: Systems maintenance, Interface, Standards, Fault simulation, Hazard analysis.
