Analytical and Experimental Research on Large Angle Maneuvers of Flexible Structures

Abstract

New methods are presented for structural system identification and control of large angle maneuvers. Both analytical and experimental results are presented. Globally stable control laws for flexible body maneuvers are derived and validated experimentally. Stereo triangulation methods are proposed and tested experimentally for structural identification.
