Department of Defense Companies Participating in the Department of Defense Subcontracting Program. First Three Quarters Fiscal Year 1990
Abstract
This report presents a variety of subcontract data collected from Department of Defense (DOD) large business firms that have received at least one award in excess of $500,000 ($1,000,000 for construction). Public Law 95-507 requires that these contractors establish a small business and small disadvantaged business subcontracting program and report to DOD quarterly, using Standard Form 295, on subcontract awards made to these types of firms. Table II- 1 shows the dollar amounts and percent distribution of awards from DOD contractors to large, small, and small disadvantaged businesses for the First Three Quarters FY 1990 and First Three Quarters FY 1989. Table II-2 summarizes DOD subcontracting program commitments, while Tables II-4 summarizes small and small disadvantaged business subcontracting goals and achievements for First Three Quarters FY 1990. Detailed information from the Army, Navy, Air Force and Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is presented in Part III, Sections 1 through 4. The listings in Part III include all of the statistics on the Standard Form 295 submitted by each contractor and subcontractor. (sdw)
