Abstract

This report is a compendium of papers by people who attended the 1988 workshop on mental models and user centered design at Breckenridge, Colorado. Subjects covered in these papers include action planning, and evaluation of retrieval of information, types of knowledge in knowledge acquisition and their roles, design evaluation, organizational influences on design, and mental models from various perspectives.
