Analysis of Emission Data from a Perkin-Elmer 1710 FTIR Spectrometer

Abstract

The principles of analysis of radiant output of an emitter in the atmospheric windows using a Perkin-Elmer 1710 FTIR Spectrometer equipped with an emission accessory are presented. From the raw emission data, experimentally measured for standard blackbody sources, the radiant intensities were analysed using the principles discussed. The analysed results are in good agreement with those theoretically calculated.
