Elucidation of Heterogeneous Processes Controlling Boost Phase Signatures

Abstract

This final report summarizes work carried out in a three year research program to develop efficient theoretical methods to study collisional processes involved in radiative signature modeling. The problems of rotational, vibrational and electronic energy transfer have been studied using novel semiclassical methods. The developed advancements in techniques are generally applicable to a state-to-state description of gas phase and gas/surface collisions leading to radiating species. (JHD)
