Laser-Based Diagnostics for N2(X,v)

Abstract

This program was designed to study diagnostics for N2(X,v ) energy transfer reactions, particularly those which might be important in chemical laser systems. The program had four primary components: (1) the development of N2(X,v ) diagnostics; (2) the quantitative correlation of these various diagnostics; (3) the characterization of various sources of N2(X,v ); and (4) the study of N2(X,v ) energy transfer reactions.
