Investigation at Two Wavelengths of a Modulated He-Xe Rare Gas Laser

Abstract

A He-Xe rare gas laser has previously been reported to emit at several wavelengths in the 2 to 4 micron region, in continuous wave and modulated modes. This Research Note discusses the effect of variation of discharge parameters on the output power and pulse energy of two infrared wavelengths of 3.894 and 3.995 micron. (EMK)
