Development of a Multifuel Individual/Squad Stove

Abstract

In response to DoD's conversion to diesel fuels for tactical vehicles and other field equipment, a multifuel squad stove has been developed and fielded. Unlike similar stoves, a separate preheat fuel is not required. The multifuel stove has a low profile providing stability and its rectangular shape is designed to facilitate heating Meal, Ready-to-eat entrees in the stove's metal case.
