KBSA Framework

Abstract

This report describes research performed while developing specifications for a support environment (framework) suitable for serving as the common basis for integration and continued development of the many lifecycle facets of the Knowledge-Based Software Assistant (KBSA). The KBSA will be a system which provides significant automation in the development and lifetime support of large software systems. A history of the effort including a background for many of the design decisions and the lessons learned throughout the project are included.
