Managing Technological Change: The Process is Key

Abstract

Three separate studies from the Rand Corp. show that management's traditional policies of trying to minimize change in a corporation's departments can be disastrous in implementing new technologies. Because technology is ever- changing, management must learn to accept, even nurture, the substantive change that technology causes.
