Design Build Delivery and the Air Forces' Application of the Concept

Abstract

This study is done to better understand the design-build process. In doing so, the report will also look at the Air Forces application of design- build concepts. By observing how it is done and how well it is working, changes may be made to improve government contracting strategies. If a design-build approach allows for improved quality, cost and time, its continued use is essential. By reviewing the results of some completed Air Force design-build projects, conclusions may be drawn as to its future applications and success.
