Pertinent Factors that Affect the Representation of Women and Minorities in Scientific, Engineering, and Technical Careers

Abstract

This research note is an interim report on the progress of the research project 'A Study to Determine and test Factors Impacting Upon the Supply of Minority and Women Scientists, Engineers, and Technologists (SETs) for Defense Industries and Installations.' The purpose of the research note is to identify previous work in this area, particularly empirical research. Another focus is identification of interventions that investigators have reported to be successful.
