Hypersonic Aerodynamics Fellowships

Abstract

This work resulted in: (1) a new approach to hypersonic waverider vehicles, which has lead to a family of waverider with exceptionally promising characteristics, and (2) the first data on the interaction of a vortex with a shock wave at hypersonic speeds.
