A Sourcebook Approach to Evaluating Artificial Intelligence Systems

Abstract

This paper provides the rationale and initial plan for the development of a sourcebook of natural language processing problems, one of the research tasks under the natural language component of the Artificial Intelligence Measurement System (AIMS). The paper provides a prototype example of a sourcebook entry called an 'exemplar'.
