Computation of Broadband Mixing Noise from Turbomachinery

Abstract

This work focuses on the phenomena of dispersion and spurious acoustic radiation in calculating propeller noise using finite difference method. The same phenomena will also affect computational solutions of turbomachinery noise problems.
