Performance Oriented Packaging Testing of CNU-405/E Shipping and Storage Container for Packing Group 2 Solid Hazardous Materials

Abstract

Qualification tests were performed to determine whether the reuseable CNU-405/E Shipping and Storage Container meets the Performance Oriented Packaging (POP) requirements specified by the United Nations Recommendations on the Transportation of Dangerous Goods. The container loaded to a gross weight of 128 pounds successfully met the requirements and retained its contents throughout the tests.
