Composite Database Interface Users Manual.

Abstract

The information presented in this document provides a description of the Composites Database Interface (CDI) program and its use and functionality. A brief description of each section of the manual follows: Section 1 explains the purpose of the Composites Database and the Interface programs. Section 2 describes the language in which the system programs are written. Section 3 provides a system description, including an enumeration of the required hardware and software. Section 4 describes the computer start-up procedure which enables the user to operate the CDI system. Section 5 provides an overall description of the CDI system and how it is run. Section 6 demonstrates the use of the CDI system with a complete example. Section 7 lists and describes the schema of the Composites Database. The Appendices contain useful reference information for the CDI program, including sample reports, and copies of all data entry forms, help screens, and input/output files associated with the database and program. Complete program listings and a listing of the database schema are also provided.
