Photon Energy Dependence Evaluation of Keithley Inc's 36000 Series Ion Chamber Radiation Survey Meter

Abstract

The Air Force Occupational and Environmental Health Laboratory conducted a photon energy dependence evaluation of Keithley Inc's 36000 series ion chamber radiation survey meter. This information was used to determine the applicability of the manufacturer's calibration procedure, which uses low energy x-rays, to the measurement of high energy photon emitting sources.
