The Future of U.S. - India Relations

Abstract

The purpose of this Military Study Project (MSP) is to examine, assess and recommend what the United States political-military relationships should be with India during the next five - eight years. In doing so, the study will include: a brief review of past and current U.S.-India relations; a U.S. global and regional perspective; an examination of key factors, interest, advantages, disadvantages and constraints impacting of the U.S.-India relationship; and conclusions and policy recommendations for the U.S. - India future.
