Abstract

This final report documents the results of a five-year investigation of methods for achieving higher performance for knowledge based systems through the design of innovative software and hardware systems architectures. Volumes I summarizes the work performed and lessons learned, and serves as an annotated index to the set of over 50 project technical reports. Volumes II through IV contain the project technical reports.
