Microcomputer-Based Vehicle Routing and Scheduling

Abstract

Netrologic has designed and implemented a system that uses alternative ways of employing methods of artificial intelligence in conjunction with heuristic mathematical models for solving vehicle routing problems and applied them to the Air Force LOGAIR cargo handling systems. The artificial intelligence problem solving techniques involve genetic algorithms and set partitioning algorithms as applied to the LOGAIR vehicle routing problem.
