Ground Conductivity Survey for Beverage Antenna Site, San Clemente Island, 21-24 May 1990

Abstract

In the search for a candidate site for a fast-wave very low frequency (VLF) Beverage antenna, the Naval Ocean Systems Center (NOSC) conducted a ground conductivity survey at its San Clemente Island Facility from 21 to 24 May 1990. The survey was conducted at 12 sites around the island using a four-stake Wenner array with a Biddle hand crank 'Megger' ground resistance tester.
