Conference Proceedings on Landing Gear Design Loads (Les Charges de Dimensionnenment dans des Atterrisseurs).

Abstract

This publication reports the papers presented to a Specialists' Meeting organised by the Structures and Materials Panel and held at its Fall 1990 Meeting. The Specialists' Meeting provided a forum for the exchange of experiences between the NATO nations with the aim of advancing landing gear design criteria and methods of landing gear analysis. The Meeting reviewed existing design practices and specifications, considered the various methods for load measurement and data analysis and formulated guidelines for future design procedures.
