Cytochemical Organization of the Retino-Suprachiasmatic System

Abstract

This report is concerned with studies of the suprachiasmatic nucleus (SCN) and associated hypothalamic regions. This part of the brain is involved in regulation of circadian rhythms. Work included ultrastructural immunocytochemistry, intracellular electrophysiology, fluo-3 calcium imaging of SCN cells, and experimental neuroanatomy.
