Single-Sensor Stereo Camera

Abstract

A conventional stereo camera system usually uses two sensors to capture the two different perspective views of an image to produce stereo effect. The two-camera system has its drawbacks however. This report discusses the approach to the design of a single-camera system to capture and produce a signal on a display for stereo viewing, thus eliminating the drawbacks in the two-camera approach.
