Documentation of the Development and Certification of an Analytical Method for Determination of HD in Soils and Concrete

Abstract

The method involves liquid-solid extraction of the matrix using chloroform with a vortex mixer followed by filtering. The analyte is determined using capillary gas-liquid chromatography (GC)/flame photometric detector (FPD) in sulfur mode (393-nanometer pass filter). The chromatographic peak is integrated using a computerized data system with data storage capabilities.
