Description of the Rayflux Ray Tracing Program and Comparison to Other Models and Measurements (Beschrijving van het Rayflux Ray Tracing Programma en Vergelijing Met Andere Modellen en Metingen)

Abstract

This report gives a description for the use of the Rayflux ray tracing program. The program can be used to calculate the acoustic transfer function in the atmosphere in a large number of different weather and soil conditions. The results of the Rayflux program are compared to the results of a wave field extrapolation model, a different ray tracing model and measurements. As a result of the comparisons it can be stated the Rayflux gives good results for moderate ranges.
