Software Metrics for Total Development Cycle Evaluation

Abstract

There are many metrics for gauging software during the several phases of development, but each leaves questions about the quality and maintainability of the software. A new metric is proposed which may overcome some of these problems while giving a strong intuitive model for gauging development progress through design, coding, and testing. A proposal is made for the collection of data for testing and evaluation of this model. (Author).
