Fundamental Studies of Carbon, NH, and Oxygen Rings and Other High Energy Density Molecular Systems

Abstract

The object of this research is to characterize the molecular structures, energetics, spectroscopic properties, and elementary chemical reactions of the oxygen ring molecules 04 through 012 and related species including (NH)n and Cn. The approach used will exploit recent developments in ab initio molecular quantum mechanics.
